Hey guys, my name is Turner Gray and I am currently a junior at American University. This spring I will be studying abroad at AU’s program in Brussels. I am an international studies major and I am most interested in national security issues. AU’s program seemed like a great fit for me to study abroad because of its focus on the EU which offers a unique perspective on world issues.
While I’m in Brussels I’ll be taking four classes and have an internship so it will be a busy and exciting semester.
Aside from from my classes and internship I’m most excited to learn about and experience Belgian culture. But also mostly the beer. Maybe I’ll do Portnoy pizza review videos but for beer. One sip, everybody knows the rules….

I don’t know how often I’ll be updating this blog but I hope it will be a couple times a week. I’m hoping to share some anecdotes here and there and my thoughts and feels about the trip. I also have an Instagram page that you can follow where I’ll be sharing photos @tgbrsls . I’m happy that I can share my travels with everyone.
